Also, even after I went to DSFM and downloaded the calibration files, which obviously were in fact there, it still did not work. The software is up to date, because I had uninstalled 119 and reinstalled 121 and updated to 121.05. So, first, it is not the tester that gets updated, it is the FJDS software of course, so it seems like this isn't even written with FJDS in mind. Using FJDS 121.05 this weekend on the Fusion listed and also a PCM on the bench from a 2017 Lincoln MKZ resulted in the same error message for both vehicles saying that the “either calibration file could not be found or the tester needed to be updated”.
